It’s time for the infamous Oscar’s red carpet! Jeez, it feels just like yesterday when I was covering the Grammys. The people of the Oscars never let us down, so I am sure this years carpet will not disappoint so lets get to it! Here are the top looks in no particular order! Get your popcorn out of the microwave now!

1. Rooney Mara in Givenchy

Rooney Mara looked amazing in a white Givenchy gown. This is by far one of the best ensembles I have seen in a long time. The see through of the lace is just right. The diamond cut-out in the center was perfect, and the train was right where it was supposed to be. I have absolutely no complaints about this gown. Definitely a top look of the night in my opinion.

2. Margot Robbie in Tom Ford

This gold dress is amazing. She looks like the Oscar Trophy but as a girl. The silhouette is very simple and reoccurring. But the way it lays on her, it just feels right. Simple but beautiful. I actually love it very much. Minimalism in the best of ways!

3. Charlize Theron in Dior

People often say you cannot wear Red to the Red Carpet. Well I am here to say that this is definitely as rule, but Charlize can do anything because she looks amazing. Why is this women so bad ass? I love the straps on top and this is my favorite train length. It is so perfect.

4.Olivia Wilde in Valentino

Olivia Wilde looks like she is ready to get on a boat and lead the Greek armies to war with Persia. Olivia looks like a Greek goddess and it is taking my breath away. I love this dress so much. The pleats are so sharp and give so much dimension to the dress and the neckline is great. This is definitely a pick for one of my top looks.

5. Jennifer Garner in Versace

An unexpected surprise! Jennifer Garner in none other than Versace! I knew there was a reason why I loved this dress. It is a classic Versace style with the half and half bodice. The drape off the side of the gown is everything that draws me in. Donatella, you never fail to take my breath away.

6. Brie Larson in Gucci

I love this gown. The waist down is a piece of art work and I love it. I would do anything to just grab this fabric and look at the detail. Gucci’s construction is just out of this world and shows a prime example of why I love the art of fashion. Great job Brie!

7. Cate Blanchett in Armani Prive

The Queen of the Oscars has arrived and of course did not disappoint. This beautiful sea-foam gown is breath taking. It fits her so perfectly, especially in the waist. The flowers are very well place and not overwhelming. Cate is just always a vision and she will always be on top of her industry.

8. Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell

Here she is! My dearest Lady Gaga walked the red carpet with her fiance in a white jumpsuit by Brandon Maxwell of course! It took me several looks to understand that there are pants underneath all of this fabric. Is this my favorite Gaga outfit? No, not at all. But it definitely is stunning. I just wish it was a little more fitted, especially in the bodice. I loved the idea of pants but really in my opinion there is so much fabric, it would have been nice to see some leg to break up all of the white. But it is still Gaga and I am still a peasant so…

9. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

Surprise! Jennifer is in Dior! Okay, it might not be much of a surprise but why should she wear anything but Dior at this point. She always looks stunning. This is my favorite look Jennifer has ever brought to the table. She looks incredible and I want to be buried with this gown.

10. Daisy Ridley in Chanel

Daisy Ridley looked stunning. I do wish it was about half a foot longer though, just barely kissing the carpet. The dress is absolutely gorgeous but it feels like it is at an awkward length like maybe she cut off the bottom with her lightsaber. But if you scroll up on the page so that you cut off her bottom half and imagine a longer dress, it is perfect.

This year the Oscars Red Carpet were unstoppable. Usually, I have a hard time picking a selection for my top three… but this year it was a piece of cake! Olivia Wilde, Rooney Mara, and Jennifer Lawrence were by far my favorites with Cate Blanchett trailing very closely behind. But my favorite of the night was Rooney Mara.

The moment I saw this gown, I knew I just found my favorite. Rooney just glows like an angel on the carpet and I think many of you would agree with me. This gown will go down in the history books!

Disagree with my choice, well don’t fear! Sound off in the comments about your favorite and vote in our poll! You better WERRRK! Thank you for reading. Stay fashionable my friends!
