Afew years ago I wrote and directed my first short film to show how ridiculous it would be forcing trans people into bathrooms that don’t conform to their gender. It went viral and helped shape a national conversation. Today not only are we still having this debate, we are being actively erased and demonized by our government in the Trump administration. I transitioned at 17 because I knew it was the right choice for me. My journey had been a wild one and at times very lonely but also very rewarding. I wouldn’t trade the life I’ve led for anything and every day I wake up in this body I feel proud of it. I will remain visible, I won’t be silent and I will continue to put myself out there to educate others that women like me are just as worthy of love and acceptance as anyone else 🦋 #transgenderdayofvisibility #transwomen #transgender #transbeauty #transpower #iamtrans #transwoman #girlslikeus #transisbeautiful #id2p #proudtobetrans #ilovebeingtransbc
