A Toast to the Lady Chablis

The Lady Chablis may have been the second queen voted out of our 90’s Drag Race series but the pride of Savannah, Georgia doesn’t need to take a backseat to anybody! I mean, who else on this show has been on Good Morning America and Oprah, has their own successful biography, has been a featured character in a best-selling novel and starred in a movie version of said novel, directed by Clint Eastwood starring alongside Kevin Spacey and John Cusack?

“Rumors and whispers carried through the streets of Savannah and across the globe. But, The Lady Chablis, The Doll, The Grand Empress has never changed, never wavered and never backed down from having her say and saying it with wit, wisdom and flair…”

As a pageant queen of renown, who won several crowns throughout the seventies and eighties, the Lady Chablis still remains a top draw to this day at her home away from home, Club One in Savannah! So the next time you’re in the Peach State, you might want to consider a trip down to Savannah to see a living legend in action!
