An Introduction to Our Site: 4/21/14
Hello and thank you for visiting our shiny new website! Hopefully this will be the first of many visits to this project that we’ve only just begun. I look at this as a site that will be constantly evolving, one that very well could be completely different a year from now, while hopefully remaining worthwhile.
Walt Disney once said, “You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.” In that vein, I’m very happy to say that there are some wonderful people involved in this venture. I’ve been fortunate enough to assemble a fantastic team of contributors to help cover a wide variety of topics, people I can’t wait for you to start meeting in the coming days and weeks.
As for those topics we’re going to be covering, well, the short answer is “Anything we find interesting.” The longer answer? “Lots of things!” Wait, that’s not actually longer. We’ll be talking about the art of drag for sure but we’re also going to delve into popular culture to take a look at film, television, comedy and music, in addition to peeking into the worlds of fashion, nightlife, cosplay and much more!
As we start this journey together, I recognize that feedback and interaction is the lifeblood of a site like this one so I encourage everyone to let us know how we’re doing, what you like, what you don’t, who and what you want to see more of, what direction you want to see things go. The email button is located right at the very top corner of the site and I encourage you to use it when you have something to say.
Thank you again for taking a look at our site. If you like what we’re doing, please tell a friend, tell several friends for that matter. Don’t be skimpy! And if you’re not a fan of what we’re doing, tell someone you don’t like about us! Be sure to keep checking in with us as we have some amazing features coming up in the next couple of days and months that you won’t want to miss. Until then, remember to have your drag queens spayed or neutered.
