About twenty-three out of the twenty-four hours in a day, Spencer is rambling on about Cyndi Lauper and blasting her music for the whole world to hear! So what better way to celebrate the winner of Spencer’s Top 80’s Artist Countdown by breaking down the top five songs of Cyndi’s career! Lets do it!
#3 The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough
Also called “Good Enough”, Cyndi released this song as part with the hit 80’s movie, “The Goonies”. You have all seen it,and you have all heard it. You know that legendary scene when all the kids are riding their bikes with our queen Cyndi singing away in the background!
Supposedly Cyndi isn’t actually a fan of this song, but I disagree! I think it is genius. She released a two part music video for the song and it is probably the funniest, most flawless piece of 80’s history out there. Lets watch the first part now!
Since we are on the subject of this song, Cyndi did a parody of the song for one of my favorite shows ever! Bob’s Burgers! I know right! The first time I saw the episode I already loved it and then I heard this familiar voice in the ending and I screamed I was so excited! Lets listen to some bootleg Youtube version.
Are you having just as much fun as Spencer! Bop on in next week for another hit Cyndi song to listen to all through the night and ill kiss you. Also, don’t forget to have a change of heart and buy Cyndi’s new album celebrating the 30th anniversary of “She’s So Unusual” over at Amazon or Itunes because…..money changes everything…
