Question: Condragulations on making the top five of So You Think You Can Drag Schwa! Have you had a moment to reflect on what you have accomplished already yet?
Schwa de Vivre: Thank you so much! It’s been a long and amazing journey the last two months, and I’ve learned more about myself and NYC nightlife than expected. This is the first time I’ll admit it, but I am truly humbled to be in the company of so many kind, talented, and HARD WORKING queens! Alexis, Dusty, Holly, and Maci are all so fabulous in their own right, and no matter who takes the crown, we have all won.
Question: What do you think was your highlight and lowlight of the season so far?
SdV: My highlight was creating my Twisty the Clown number during Halloween week. I was so proud of how it turned out, and it was completely from my heart and brain. My only regret? I took the competition and myself way too seriously the first few weeks, and it took me longer to connect with the other girls and the audience than most. Luckily I have amazing friends who pulled me out of it, and now I’m proud to call all the other competitors friends and sisters!

Question: How would you describe your experience on SYTYCD? What was it like to work with Paige, Chelsea and all other guests that have come through?
SdV: It was everything I wanted and more. I got to try new things, grow as an artist, gain new fans, and learn more than I ever imagined about my art, and what I envision my career to be moving forward. Paige is so lovely and talented, Chelsea is the most helpful and kind, the staff at NWS is amazing, the judges, the audience… it was all so wonderful! I’m blessed!!
Question: So without spoiling anything, what can we expect from you in the finale?
SdV: Expect the final layers of the Schwa de Vivre onion to be peeled back. Expect dancing like you’ve never seen at SYTYCD, and expect me to show you EVERYTHING I’ve got!
Question: Best of luck on the 13th Schwa! Anything you want to plug before we wrap up?
SdV: Check out SUPERWOMAN with Alexis Michelle every Wednesday at 11pm at THE WEST END (107th and Broadway). Subscribe to my youtube channel (here) for upcoming videos, spoofs, and Schwa Shenanigans!
