Have you ever watched the design challenges on RuPaul’s Drag Race and thought….hot damn I could do that! Well now is your chance! Werrrk.com and Atomic Cosmetics are sponsoring the “Let’s Get To WERRRK” Design Challenge, hosted by the reigning Miss Not Safe 4 Werk, Boxxa Vine! Taking inspiration from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8’s first main challenge, the premise is easy! You pick ONE (and only one!) specific challenge from the list below of ten past Drag Race garment design/construction challenges below and do it to the best of your ability. You will be judged on makeup, hair, fit of the garment, execution of the challenge, and originality. This is not a re-creation challenge! Do not simply exactly remake a look a queen on Drag Race did for the challenge but truly make it your own and show us what you’re made of!
Keep in mind this is a design and construction challenge so for the most part the entire garment should be sewn, crafted, glued, and generally created by you. The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to Atomic Cosmetics and a guaranteed spot as a contestant later in the year in the 2016 Miss WERRRK.com (or Miss Bio-WERRRK for all you Bio Queens out there!) Online Drag Pageant to compete for an even bigger prize package that come with the title of Miss Werk or Miss Bio-Werrrk. Hit your local thrift store, heat up that glue gun, and Let’s Get To WERRRK!
