WERRRK.com 2016 Drag Awards: Queen of Chicago 90

Welcome to the WERRRK.com 2016 Drag Awards, recognizing the best in drag and LGBT achievement this year! The nomination stage is starting now, where your vote will help decide the winners!  Since we have started these awards in 2014, two of our most popular awards have been the Queen of New York and the Queen of Los Angeles awards, given to the queen in those cities that had the best year. Given the overwhelming support of those awards, combined with some overwhelming support for this city’s nominees in last year’s awards, we thought it was time to recognize the queens in the Windy City with the brand new Queen of Chicago Award!  Thank you to our fabulous friends at Arda Wigs for sponsoring this new category. Remember you can vote once every 24 hours between now and December 22nd. Congratulations to all of our amazing nominees!

Editor’s Note: Much like our Queen of NYC and Queen of LA Awards, queens who have been on Drag Race or we have on pretty good authority will be on the next season are not eligible. In addition, Aurora Gozmic, who is currently competing in our Miss WERRRK.com 2016 pageant is not eligible this year because of that.

Despite being a drag journalist for over five years, Chiffon only recently realized that she missed a golden opportunity back then to change her drag name to Rhoda Story.
