DEVEN GREEN
HER?
irRESISTable!
LUCKY STIFF
(her music was a French song so I responded in kind) “Lucky Stiff” possède certainement son corps et mon coeur.
MINNOW FUTURE
Never start off a sentence with “never” but NEVER resist Minnow’s future of joy and fun.
GENEVA CONVENTION
If Lady Justice doesn’t provide enough resistance, Wonder Woman’s sword would! I feel protected.

Such a cool video setting! I liked the way your aggressive message contrasted with the whole idea of “formal wear” even though it was a simple single word- that’s powerful. I would have like a longer still-shot of the full length dress though, just to get the whole impact at once; most of your full length shots involved moving, sitting, or a quick zoom of your face. Don’t get me wrong, your beat is totally stunning, but I needed just one longer, lingering impact shot of the outfit itself to really appreciate it! Also, be careful with under garments; we got a couple peeks of your panties at the back when I’m not sure you meant us to.
Lucky Stiff
Such a good message to open! I liked the contrast between your very lacy, typically femme dress and the imagery you included of the more masculine tie and suit jacket. While I did get the “sexy” motif you were going for from how you displayed the pieces on the bed or on your body in the bed and thought that was effective, I would have liked at least one longer full shot of the outfit all at once to really get the full impact. Even if you didn’t put the jacket on, a shot of you with it where we can see you as a whole would have been great to tie the whole thing together.
Minnow Future
Great shots of the dress! I was glad to see the whole thing and really take it in. I love the visuals we get of you showing your pride in public. I also thought the contrast between the words on your glove reveal and the frown you painted on your face was visually powerful. It was unique to see a “resist” theme end with a rather positive note, as many pieces along those veins often have such a heavy twist.
Geneva Convention
I loved that your concept was explicit/self explanatory but that you were still very detailed about it! It created this overt effect that really queered up the classic American tenet of “liberty”, but with sparkles on top for good measure. The overall effect was totally impactful.
Venus Envy

You gave great face and attitude throughout the entire video and really sold the concept you were going for. Your gown was a little big on you and there were points in the video where black undergarments were visible, but you modeled the hell out of it regardless. I think a teased up-do and some claws would have completed the look while still keeping the riot grl aesthetic. Overall, I think you did great!
Lucky Stiff
I loved your creative take on the video. It was very artistic and read more as a documentary than a submission for an online drag competition, which definitely helped you stand out. My main critique is that after watching the video, I don’t have a clear picture of what you were wearing. I think it was a leotard? And there was a jacket on the bed. And some killer shoes. I would have liked to see the whole thing together, because while it was certainly creative, I’m not sure it read as eveningwear.
Minnow Future
Kudos to you for filming this in public! I loved the overall aesthetic of your look. Even though it wasn’t as glamorous as some of the other submissions, it was completely you. You took a category that’s typically based on polish and elegance and turned it into something campy. That, in and of itself, shows resistance.
Geneva Convention
THIS is Creative Eveningwear! It’s glamorous, it’s polished, the hair isn’t touching the gown, the gown is touching the floor, there’s lots of glitter, and the message is loud and clear! I think you absolutely nailed this category and the fact that you designed and created everything yourself is very impressive.

You’ve completely won my heart this week. Being Lady Justice is genius, subtle but theme fitting. The outfit is gorgeous, the neck line really suits you, I love the gold at the bottom. Your props, hair and accessories were all perfect to the look. The fact you made this all yourself deserves huge congratulations. Well done, Geneva!
MINNOW FUTURE
I. SCREAMED. What a REVEAL! Fitting to the #RESIST, I’m slightly lost, but joy & fun are key, so I assume that was where you were going with this? I personally love a clown look and primary colours are “in” right now.
HER?
There’s nothing I love more than reclaiming a word, and you doing that with “dyke” on your gown fits the #RESIST theme well. I feel like the dress looked sightly too big on you in certain places, and I would’ve preferred different hair. However your personality shone through, and you did your best when selling the garment.
LUCKY STIFF
Your #RESIST points were gripping and powerful and as always, your speech was delivered excellently. My only criticism is that I have no idea what your evening wear fully looks like on you, considering there was no full body shot. The aspects I saw were gorgeous, I just wish we could’ve seen the look as a whole.
Crunk Panda
Her?
I really like the dress, and I love how your accents on the dress really compliment the artwork on your skin. The jewel work is stellar. I feel like you really missed a lot of the movie by shooting this, but, you looked awesome!
Lucky Stiff
As an old white man, I really enjoyed the look from what I could see, I enjoy a bit darker approach to evening wear. I would have like to have seen a bit more of the total look, you did great at showing bits and pieces, but, would have been really good to see the whole look in a single shot.
Minnow Future
Each week I honestly look forward to what you are going to bring, you definitely nailed the creative aspect and I really like that you just head out and put on a show for the world. We need more smiles, thanks for delivering.
Geneva Convention
Well done in the realm of creativity, the inclusion of Lady Justice(the figure, not Ruth Bader Ginsburg) was a really solid twist on this challenge. Lady Justice has never looked better!
Poppy Fields
Geneva Convention
I absolutely loved this. I knew immediately how this was in keeping with the theme, and it was beautifully executed. I loved how you fabricated the “blindfold”, as well, and the props were perfect. Super-creative and beautiful! Well done!
Lucky Stiff
Your makeup was simply beautiful, and your message was meaningful and poignant. I wanted you to show us more of the gown standing, but based on your interpretation of the theme and the quality of your overall look, I think you did a great job.
Her?
You are gorgeous and fun, and I love your personality and the way you present yourself. However, I thought you could have stepped it up a bit for this challenge, because I know you are more creative than this evidenced. There was absolutely nothing I can really criticize about your entry this week, it just wasn’t as impactful as I would have liked.
Minnow Future
Oh, Minnow. I really enjoy the fact that your method of resistance is “joy” and “fun”. I can totally get on board with that, and the costume gimmick was really nice. However, I couldn’t see your makeup closely, and the outfit was simply a sheathe of three fabrics with tulle on the top. At this stage of the competition, we need to see more.
Monroe Fitzgerald
Her?
Her? I am living for your concept in this submission! Your makeup design in this category is beat, love the detail work in your eyes! I wish the gown was fitted more to your body (it looks loose in your midsection). To enhance the overall look of the gown try glass stones for the detail work.
Lucky Stiff
I really applaud you for being so vulnerable in this submission. Letting your truth shine in your art shows how dedicated you are to allowing your drag to be a vessel for what you believe in! The filming was beautifully done, but it left me wanting more. I was hoping there would be a second section with full body modeling. Your look was clean, I just wish we could have seen a full head to toe evening wear.
Minnow Future
I love that this submission had a fully conceptualized look. The gown is a clear reference to your humor and I love it! The flag reveal was everything! This look is clean and simple, to take it to the next level try adding some stone or bead work. I do wish we could have seen a closer look at your mug.
Geneva Convention
You brought such a sultry air to this concept! I am gagging over your scale, what a great detail! The fit of this gown is great and I love the gold trumpet skirt to enhanced the curvaceous nature of the gown! I do wish there was stronger lighting to get a closer look at your mug. Great job giving us plenty of angles in your modeling, I definitely feel like I saw it fully.
Spencer Williams
Her?
You look amazing! I loved your video. You are a master of cinematography. I love the dress. I am not sure how creative it is, but it looks great on you and you look great so… mission accomplished!
Lucky Stiff
Lucky, I could listen to you talk for days and I think that after this pageant you should consider creating a podcast. You looked absolutely beautiful in your submission. I do wish I was able to get a full on shot of the ensemble though. I don’t feel like I was ever able to get a full good look at it.
Minnow Future
This dress is so fun! You stayed true to Minnow and I believe it payed off. This was a good week for you…
Geneva Convention
Geneva you never fail to impress me. In my opinion, you are the only one who actually used creativity in their evening-wear. I love this look so much! Fantastic job. Don’t change a thing.
