What’s up everybody? Woah, that episode was great. I appreciated how we had a little more dialogue so we can figure out what the hell is going on. In last night’s episode, our group of jolly survivors were attacking different compounds of Negan’s. How did it turn out? Well let’s talk about it.
The Good
Alright the first thing I want to talk about is Daryl’s capacity for bullshit… Daryl has zero capacity for bullshit. After so many years, we finally get to find out what happened to Morales and his family… but I think we can all agree a few minutes into his speech we stopped caring. So, Daryl came in and shot Morales down in the blink of an eye and the show started moving again. Genius! Thanks Daryl! Okay so Rick and Daryl are looking for big machine guns. I can see why that would be necessary. Let’s hope that uh…. doesn’t come back to bite us. Oh! Did you guys see Carol kick some ass tonight? Ugh, that is such a refreshing sight. Ezekiel just lets Carol do her thing as Carol unleashes Hell. Get em Carol!
The Bad
Jesus…do not let these Saviors live! Are you serious? I mean the guy with the long hair is going to cause a real mess as soon as he gets the chance. Oh look they ran away, SHOCKING! For once, I agree with Morgan even though Jesus beat his ass which was quite hilarious really. But I feel like major time is being wasted with this conflict because we all know how it’s going to end. It’s kind of getting predictable. Uhhhh Maggie? Don’t let Gregory back at Hilltop are you serious? What’s with you guys. I would have had him tarred and feathered, then released out to the hungry walker crowd. Come on Maggie. Oh look, the Saviors are using those very bigly machine guns against Carol and Ezekiel’s group… This is what we get when Ezekiel gives us those cocky ‘Lord of the Rings’ speeches… If Carol gets shot I swear to God! Eric Foreman look-alikes’s boyfriend died after he was told to wait patiently at a tree and likely bled out. Didn’t see that coming…. Honestly I would feel bad but I forgot they were even a thing until they started kissing.
The Episode MVP
Oh this was an easy one. Daryl come get your award man! In an episode full of our characters deciding to show mercy, Daryl showed none of that on two different occasions! You go Daryl!
In Summation
Carol and Ezekiel have been wondering around the woods so long, I’m starting to wonder if they just lost a presidential campaign. I want to read whatever “Ninja Army Tactics for Dummies” book Rick made everyone ready during the season break. Daryl is reclaiming his time with this Morales stand-off. Oh my gosh, how has this battle between the Eric Foreman look-alike and the Saviors not ended yet? I still want to see a Carol vs. Shiva battle…. I’m positive Carol would win. Okay… we get it, Jesus saves. Enough already! If I were Maggie I would bring in all of those Saviors for the ultimate “Red Wedding” recreation. If you didn’t get that reference, stop what you are doing and watch Game of Thrones you idiot. Daryl just pulled the ultimate Thranduil, Son of Oropher by shooting that surrendered Savior. “I freed his wretched head from his miserable shoulders“. Daryl Dixon for president. Oh great, Carol found the big machine guns. My therapist is not going to be happy about this….
