Guys, tonight is the premiere of the tenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and I am stoked. After watching this show since season 1, this feels like a magnificent accomplishment. Not just to the talented men and women who put this show together, but to us… the supportive fans! It’s been a long, colorful ride and yet I feel like it has just begun! Last night was the NYC red-carpet premiere and of course I had to stop by to check out all of the sickening fashion. After ten seasons of this damn show, I expect these queens to exceed any prior levels fierceness and blow my mind with some fashion. So lets get to it! Bring it to the runway!

Aquaria

CATEGORY IS: RUNWAY MODEL REALNESS

I love this look. Honestly though, I feel like I am going to like all of Aquaria’s looks.  She is a master of fashion and knows exactly what looks good on and off her body. Aquaria is already an accomplished model, walking down runways for designers such as Nicola Formichetti. The other girls better beware of this one. I’m sure ill be talking about her fashion just about every week!

Asia O’Hara

CATEGORY IS: STARS, STATEMENTS, AND LEGENDS

The legend that is Asia O’Hara is finally here! How exciting! So I am torn on this look. I don’t really like the fabric of the dress. It reminds me of a wallpaper you would find at a children’s doctors office. I don’t really see how one would decide on this fabric for such a high fashion carpet. However I do love the pink stole because it has a very glamorous feel combined with her beautiful head piece. I wish the dress aesthetic matched everything else.

Blair St. Claire

CATEGORY IS: HOLLYWOOD BEAUTY

This dress looks so cute on Blair St. Claire! I feel like it is kind of giving an homage to a classic Hollywood carpet. Compared to the other queens on the carpet, this look feels a little pedestrian. I am also not crazy about the fit of the top… but still nonetheless  she looks beautiful.

Dusty Ray Bottoms

CATEGORY IS: CRUELLA COUTURE

Dusty Ray Bottoms is wearing one of my favorite dresses of the night. First, the fit of the dress is flawless. However the best part is the combination of the beautiful colors in this fabric. It’s just all really stunning and reminds me of a lovely Renaissance time period portrait. OH, and that hair though! I love it.

Eureka

CATEGORY IS: ELEPHANT QUEEN EUPHORIA

I like this look on the returning queen, Eureka. I feel like it is rather minimalist which I enjoy, because I feel like it was her way of letting the world know she is back and not going anywhere just by means of showing off her beauty! Seriously though, this is probably one of my favorite Eureka looks. Looking forward to what this queen brings back during her second round.

Kalorie Karbdashian Williams

CATEGORY IS: QUEEN BEE BEAUTY

Welcome queen Kalorie Karbdashian Williams to the show! Okay, I’ll just be real here and say I don’t really like this outfit at all. The denim ensemble is just not fitting. I think it needs something to break it up like a belt, or perhaps tuck in the shirt…? Plus the neck-piece makes it look like she has no neck, which does not do her any favors. Perhaps one way to fix this would be to put her hair in a up-do of some sort. There is just a lot wrong here but I have faith that Kalorie can pull out some amazing looks on the show and future red carpets. Stay tuned!

Kameron Michaels

CATEGORY IS: QUEEN OF QUEENS ELEGANZA

WOW! Kameron Michaels looks sickening! This look has so much detail. It is stunning from the embroidery in the train, up to the crown she wears. If this look is to give us any idea on how Kameron does this season, then I expect Kameron to go all the way! Kameron had one of the best looks of the night for sure! You… are… everything!

Mayhem Miller

CATEGORY IS: WINNER OF SEASON 10 REALNESS

Everyone else can go home, because that crown belongs to our rightful queen, Mayhem Miller. As always, Mayhem looks incredible.  That dress is so beautiful and I love the color on her. Her makeup is gorgeous and the hair is perfect. Yes, you might say I am biased because Mayhem is the Los Angeles representation of this season. To that I say, just wait…. because the queen of the party is about to rock your whole life.

 Miz Cracker

CATEGORY IS: IT’S TIME FOR DINNER

Alright everyone, it’s time for dinner! Miz Cracker is here and I am so excited! I am such a huge Miz Cracker fan and I hope she goes far on this damn show. Cracker looks like a beautiful Disney princess walking down the carpet. Cracker is very aware of her brand and what looks good on her which will really give her a leg up in this competition. My only small concern is that because I am so used to the signature Cracker look, will she be able to deliver multiple looks throughout the show that feel pushed outside of the box? I guess we will find out shortly! Cracker you better kill it! Side note: If you kind of slightly close your right eye, Cracker looks like Gaga. Just saying.

Monét X Change

CATEGORY IS: DRIPPING IN DIVA COUTURE

Monét X Change just hit the runway with one of the most sickening premiere dresses I have seen here at WERRRK.com. As soon as I saw this, I instantly felt like reaching for my sketchpad and just playing with this look. It is so fun! The color looks beautiful on her skin and I love that hair. Definitely one of the best looks of the night.  Monét is going to go far on this season… I just know it.

Monique Heart

CATEGORY IS: PRETTY IN PINK

Monique Heart looks amazing! I love this dress. It is very feminine, and the color looks beautiful on her! It’s a simple design but very still very stylish. I read that she was introduced as the “Queen On a Budget”, but based off of this look I really don’t get that because she looks very expensive. I love it!

The Vixen

CATEGORY IS: GODDESS ON THE RUNWAY

Wow this queen is beautiful! The Vixen looked stunning on the red carpet wearing a dress that looks like it came straight from the runway of fashion week. It’s beautiful, feminine, sexy, and fierce. Most of all, I love the colors laying across her skin. It just feels so fresh and I love it.  I feel like she has to smell good, like that is what this color combination is giving off. Is that weird? Okay next…

Vanessa Vanjie Mateo

CATEGORY IS: BAD BITCH AT THE BALL

Oh hey Vanessa Vanjie Mateo! Yo, Vanessa has a beautiful mug. She really looks stunning. However, I feel like they color she paints her face is just so much lighter than the rest of her body. The plunging neckline in the dress also shows off Vanessa’s obviously built masculine chest. Combined together, it’s almost like her head didn’t match the rest of her body. Once again the neck piece kind of separates her out which gives that illusion. I think this would have been so much prettier if she opened up her neck.

 Yuhua Hamasaki

CATEGORY IS: EMPRESS ELEGANZA

 Oh I love Yuhua Hamasaki in this red gown! It is so dope! Yuhua looks like actual royalty right here. Watching Yahua for a little while now, I am so excited for her to be on the show because she is absolutely hilarious. Her iconic looks, beautiful makeup, and strong sense of humor could easily launch Yuhua to the top.
