Austin International Drag Festival Headliner Announcement: Ariel Versace

WERRRK.com has proudly partnered up with the Austin International Drag Festival this year and we have been given the privilege of announcing this year’s headliners first! We are so excited about being a part of this amazing event this year and we cannot wait to bring you all the fabulous drag artists that are going to be headlining this year!

Our next headliner is coming to us from season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race by way of New Jersey! We are very excited to announce that Ariel Versace will be headlining the Austin International Drag Festival this year! (Get your tickets here and join us in Austin this fall!)

Congratulations on being named a headliner Ariel! How did you get involved with the Austin International Drag Festival and what does this opportunity mean to you?

Thanks! I was involved with the festival last year, and I am excited to be back! I have a lot more under my belt this time around, and I can’t wait to meet some more people out here on the South/West coast. Jersey girl here.

For those people living under a rock, can you tell us a little bit about Ariel Versace and your drag?

Ariel Versace is New Jersey’s Life Sized Bratz Doll! She is colorful, gorgeous and fun! A passion for fashion with a Pop Star attitude! Since last year, I was a cast member on the most recent season of RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 11). I’ve also released a bit of original music as well, with a hot new music video! My YouTube career has started to take off as well with beauty tutorials and comedy videos. The channel is sitting currently at about 40k subscribers!

We can’t wait to see what you’re planning on bringing to the stage in Austin! Can you give the WERRRK .com universe a little tease of what’s to come this fall in Texas?

Speaking of the new music, that will most likely be making an appearance itself at the festival! New looks, new music, new attitude! Looking forward to seeing everyone come out and celebrate the art of drag! XOXO.
