Red Carpet Season Has Begun!
Hello everyone! No, your eyes are not deceiving you! It really is me, which means Red Carpet season… has begun! *Que the theme music* Last night we witnessed the 2020 Golden Globe Awards! Now, I’ll be upfront… I am not a big fan of the actual award show. The awards are all over the place and have real no mirror as to what the Oscars or Emmys will look like. However, it is all good fun and the red carpet is always a dream.
Speaking of, there were some sickening looks that crossed down the Golden Globes Red Carpet. I am ready to break down my favorite looks. Question is, are you ready? Well then get ready!
Nicole Kidman – Atelier Versace
I am pretty sure Nicole Kidman has made it onto every single Best Dressed list of mine, even for the shows she did not attend. Nicole stunned in a Atelier Versace gown that was proved to be just right for the occasion.
Laura Dern – Saint Laurent

I would die for Laura Dern. She is just… perfect. I love this Saint Laurent look. It’s a simple silhouette, yet really high fashion which is really the name of the game for the Golden Globes red carpet. It just screams, ” I will not, not be rich” vibes and I am thankful.
Saoirse Ronan – Celine

This dress is so good! Saoirse Ronan wore a simple Celine slinky dress and stepped right up to the Best Dressed list. It’s that good. Flawless!
Cate Blanchett – Mary Katrantzou

It doesn’t feel right including Cate Blanchett on this list. Not because her fashion isn’t good, but because Cate Blanchett is an actual godess and she plays on a different playing field that few others can even attempt. Cate wore Mary Katrantzou to the awards and I still have not recovered.
Phoebe Waller Bridge – Ralph & Russo

I am convinced Phoebe Waller Bridge is wearing one of the greatest suits ever. This Ralph & Russo suit was an excellent choice for Phoebe!
Ellen DeGeneres – Celine

Oh wow, I just got done writing about Phoebe Waller Bridge’s amazing suit. Well, Ellen DeGeneres’s suit is equally as perfect. I want that Celine suit damn it! Ellen had a great night and I am so happy for her award. She has served as an inspiration for me as well as so many others for so long, and I am happy she gets to see that recognition.
Billy Porter – Alex Vinash

Royalty is here! Billy Porter turns out a legendary luck every red carpet, and this Alex Vinash look was no different. I am obsessed. Everyone should take notes from this fashion legend.
Zoey Deutch – Fendi

Oh phew. When I saw Zoey Deutch in this Fendi look, I had to take a seat. It’s just so flawless. Everything from the shape to the color is just right. I am glad we get a red carpet season full of The Politician cast members.
Gwyneth Paltrow – Fendi

Oh my Goop! Gwyneth Paltrow looks so good! This Fendi dress is extremely unique which is a little risky for The Golden Globes, but Gwyneth killed it. One of my favorites of the night.
Kerry Washington – Altuzarra

Finally, someone brought some edge to this red carpet. Kerry Washington wore an Altuzarra ensemble and she looked sickening. This was easily one of my favorite looks of the night, and one of my favorite Kerry Washington looks ever!
Olivia Colman – Emilia Wickstead

Our Queen is here! Olivia Colman looked like royalty last night in a red Emilia Wickstead gown. I am a huge fan of Olivia and I get so excited to see her! This gown looks great on her, and I love the vintage royal sleeves. Royalty!
