Everyone’s favorite episode of each RuPaul’s Drag Race season is finally here! Snatch Game… er… Snatch Game of Love is back! While the All Stars version of the hit challenge is a little different, it has still given us some iconic moments over the years!
Before the queens got to prepping for the Snatch Game of Love, they reconnected in the workroom after Jan‘s elimination. Trinity K Bonet reassured Pandora Boxx that she saved her over Jan because of the effort she’s put into each challenge. Speaking of boxes, the queens also went through who voted to eliminate who. Ginger Minj and Eureka O’Hara chose to eliminate Pandora, while Kylie Sonique Love and Ra’Jah O’Hara selected Jan’s lipstick. Pandora was a little hurt as Jan was in the bottom three times prior, but she was mature about it.
RuPaul entered the workroom which means I got to play my favorite game of the season, will we get a mini-challenge today? The answer was no. The queens found out that they were going to perform Snatch Game of Love in front of none other than Beyoncé‘s mom. The best moment of the whole episode was Trinity saying she was performing in front of God because Beyoncé is Jesus.
The queens began sharing who they were portraying in the Snatch Game. Ginger was doing Phylis Diller, Eureka chose Divine, Pandora picked Kim Cattrall, Trinity chose Whitney Houston, Kylie did Dolly Parton, and Ra’Jah selected LaToya Jackson. All of these are strong choices!
The queens would be attempting to win the love of Cheyenne Jackson and Fortune Feimster. Cheyenne was up first while Kylie, Ginger, and Trinity tried to convince him to pick them. Kylie as Dolly is something we didn’t deserve but got anyway. Cheyenne didn’t pick her, though. Ginger as Phylis Diller got the man.
Up next was Fortune’s quest for love with Eureka, Pandora, and Ra’Jah. Ra’Jah was hilarious as LaToya. She did exactly what Ru wanted her to do and killed it. However, Fortune didn’t pick any of them. She picked Cheyenne but then again, who wouldn’t. Out of both performances, Trinity and Pandora seemed to struggle the most.
On the main stage, Ru was joined by Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, and Tina Knowles-Lawson. The category for the runway was pop art, which I loved. My favorite looks were Pandora and Trinity’s. As for critiques, Ginger, Kylie, and Eureka got the most positive critiques, while Trinity, Pandora, and Ra’Jah got the most negative critiques. In the end, it was Ginger who won the challenge while Trinity and Pandora fell into the bottom two.
It was time for the best part of each episode, the reveal of the lipsync assassin! This week was none other than Heidi N Closet! The queens faced off to Sugar Walls by Sheena Easton. It was a fun performance to watch! In the end, Ginger won the lipsync and Pandora Boxx was sadly eliminated.
Anyway, we still don’t know about this game within a game. Will we ever find out? I don’t know, y’all. As always, sound off with your thoughts on this week’s episode in the comments below!
