The queens returned to the RuPaul’s Drag Race workroom after the non-elimination. Jasmine Kennedie and Jorgeous celebrated their chance to live another day, while Bosco basked in her win.
RuPaul came in to inform the queens that they would be making an outfit out of bubble wrap for the mini challenge. Bosco spoke for all of us when she called it the “most hellish ASMR.” The queens had to construct a little bubble wrap outfit and get into quick drag. Bosco’s look was giving Aquaria‘s entrance look and she won the challenge!
Then the queens learned it was the moment we all have been waiting for, SNATCH GAME! Well, I hope you didn’t get your hopes up for what was going to transpire. It was a doozy.
Lady Camden was getting into Shakespear drag and Angeria Paris VanMichaels thought she was doing Prince, which was hilarious. Meanwhile, Angeria was planning on doing the iconic queen, Tammie Brown. On the topic of fun characters, DeJa Skye chose to portray Lil Jon, which is brilliant.
Raven and Dove Cameron were the contestants for the Snatch Game. Unfortunately, no jokes were landing throughout the entire challenge. DeJa’s Lil Jon was the only successful character. Bosco said it best, it was the Lil Jon show and the rest of the queens were the supporting cast. Daya Betty, as Ozzy Osborne, kept copying Bosco’s answers. Angeria was making everyone laugh because her impression of Tammie was so bad. Wow, y’all. That was rough.
The queens were hoping to impress with their looks on the runway after that disastrous Snatch Game performance. The category on the main stage was holy couture and Willow opened up about how her look was inspired by mushrooms because of how her experience with psychedelic mushrooms helped her conquer her fear of death.
On the main stage, Ru was joined by Dove, Michelle Visage, and Carson Kressley. Willow looked adorable in her mushroom look, Angie’s church lady, and Bosco’s nod to leaving her previous Catholic faith.
Then came the judges’ critiques. Everyone knew they were going to be rough. Michelle kicked off the critiques by asking what happened after knowing how well these queens had done throughout the season. DeJa got the best feedback, as to be expected. Everyone else were not as lucky.
In the end, DeJa won the challenge. Unfortunately for everyone else, they were all up for elimination. They would all be lipsyncing for their lives… but next week. The season where no one goes home, ever! I hope you are all ready for these recaps to go on for years as this is the world’s longest season. Imagine if the person who goes home has the golden ticket? Whatever, this is kinda fun, right?
