Well, the 94th Academy Awards have come and gone. That was certainly…something! At the end of the day, I am thankful for three things, Lady Gaga, Liza Minnelli, and red-carpet fashion! That’s right, we have some red-carpet looks to talk about. If I am being honest, this year’s carpet was a little mediocre. I get it, we are all thawing out from the awards season ice-age we have been suffering from. However, there were some standout looks that I am excited to share with you.
Lupita Nyong’o in Prada
Lupita Nyong’o looked brilliant in this golden Prada ensemble. By far one of my favorite looks of the night which isn’t surprising because I often see Lupita’s looks as one of my favorites.
Kristen Stewart in Chanel
I am just so proud of Kristen Stewart! No, I do not know her personally but as a long time Twihard – this has really just been a moment. Kristen has gone through so much leading up to this moment and she rocked it! Her role in Spencer was so very good! Kirsten decided to go with the controversial choice of shorts and I absolutely loved it. She looked so good in Chanel as usual!
Mila Kunis in Zuhair Murad Couture

Mila Kunis! Wow, I am obsessed with this look. That color looked stunning on her and the silhouette is so right. I am a big Zuhair Murad fan so this was just perfect.
Megan Thee Stallion

If someone would have told me Megan Thee Stallion was going to remix “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”, I would not have believed them. However, this was the best thing ever. I should have known once I saw Megan looking AMAZING on the red carpet. That’s some real hot girl s**t!
Alana Haim in Louis Vuitton

I am so proud to see Alana Haim on the Oscars red carpet. I have been a fan of her and her sisters for a long time and it just feels good to see this talented artist enjoy her moment! She was stunning in Louis Vuitton and I couldn’t love it any more!
Rachel Zegler in Dior Haute Couture

Even though she was the lead actress in West Side Story, Rachel Zegler was just barely invited to the Oscars this week! So I was in love with Rachel’s Dior Haute Couture look. She showed up looking amazing, making the Academy eat it!
Simu Liu in Versace

I am just going to say it, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings deserved a Best Picture Nominee! When I saw Simu Liu in Versace, my jaw dropped! He looks so good. Versace strikes again!
Zoë Kravitz in Saint Laurent

Make way folks, my Catwoman is here. Zoë Kravitz looked so beautiful in Saint Laurent. Honestly though, is anyone shocked by this? Zoë remains winning and will continue to win on this red carpet until she decides otherwise.
Jessica Chastain in Gucci

I wanted Jessica Chastain to win for her role in The Eyes of Tammy Faye so badly, and it happened! I admittedly at first did not love this gown but once I stopped and looked at it, I can’t take my eyes off of it! It’s so fun and just looks so great on Jessica. I loved how the bodice almost matches her hair color. Such a good note!
Ariana DeBose in Valentino Haute Couture

The person I was most excited to see on the red carpet was Ariana DeBose! Of course, Ariana did not disappoint. Before winning the Best Supporting Actress award for West Side Story, Ariana stunned in this red Valentino Haute Couture jumpsuit and it was one of my favorite thing about the night. So good!
Timothée Chalamet in Louis Vuitton

I don’t care what you have to say about Timothée Chalamet… because he looks so good! Is this look traditional? No, of course not. But the traditional Oscars red carpet is evolving. Think about everything we have gone through. Timothée Chalamet in Louis Vuitton gave me so much life!
Zendaya in Valentino Haute Couture

Behold our queen of the red carpet, Zendaya! I’m always excited to see what Zendaya is going to do on the red carpet and as always was not disappointed. I at first didn’t like the skirt as I don’t really feel like it matches. However, I came around to it.
Winner – 2022 Best Dressed of the Oscars
It’s a tie for me between Jessica Chastain, Ariana DeBose, and Rachel Zegler! The three of them looked spectacular and I just couldn’t decide!

Let me know who your pick for Best Dressed is in the comments!
