Another episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars: All Winners was up on Paramount+, which means Jaida Essence Hall was singing an apology to Jinkx Monsoon with a toy xylophone, of course. To remind you, Monét X. Change was finally blocked, and she decided to keep the secret of the plunger bit going. Suddenly, The Vivienne shared that she wanted to block Jinkx, but she couldn’t, as she won the challenge and couldn’t be blocked. Drama!
For this week’s challenge, the queens would be making up their own graduation speeches, which is a unique challenge. They’d be workshopping their speeches with Carson Kressley and comedian Nikki Glaser. Since Monet was blocked, RuPaul let her pick the order. Oh, and there would be four legendary legend stars up for grabs. One for each winner to keep, another to give away.
Raja and Yvie Oddly were feeling the pressure to win their first stars. Raja chose to take on a character, while Jinkx and Jaida were performing a song with the xylophone and ukulele. As the queens were writing their speeches, Monet was trying to bargain with the girls to get a star although she was blocked.
For the order, Monet put herself first, followed by Shea Coulee, Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor, Raja, Jaida, Yvie, Jinkx, and finally, Viv, who didn’t want to go last, but she blocked Monet, so she didn’t get her way.
While the queens were workshopping their speeches with Carson and Nikki, Monet had us cracking up while Shea had us totally in our feels. Viv chose to do a drunk character, Trinity opened up about her struggles with learning as a kid, and Jinkx talked about getting hit by a car in Amsterdam. A little bit of everything here.
It was time for the queens to give their speeches in front of Ru, Carson, Nikki, and Michelle Visage. Was this the most successful challenge of all time? Everyone absolutely hit it out of the park. I laughed, I cried, and I felt like I graduated even though I am sitting on my couch. Loved everyone, 1000/10.
On the runway, the category was veiled it, aka they had veils on. You’re welcome. Everyone looked great, but Shea and Raja were my favorites. As always, though, no one failed this runway.
For the judges’ critiques, everyone got praise which is what they deserve. First, Nancy Pelosi came out on the stage for some reason, and then we got to hear who won the challenge. The top two all-stars this week were Jinkx and Raja! Raja finally got a legendary legend star!
Don’t forget, however, there was one to give away! No, literally, don’t forget because they won’t give them out until next week. You might forget that was even a thing. I probably will.
Raja and Jinkx faced off for a cash tip and the chance to block a fellow contestant. They faced off to Better in Color by Lizzo. Jinkx was hilarious while Raja was giving us a classic and composed lip sync. Both were great, but Jinkx took home the win and chose to block the Viv!
Alright y’all, I’ll see you back here for another heartwarming episode of All Winners. I love this season!
