Another week another drama-filled episode fueled by ambition, love triangles, and good ole television storylines. After saying bye to Yovska last week, we’re back to drama in the boudoir I love drama, but I love drag and what Draguala brings more. The Abhora, Astrud Aurelia and Hoso Terra Toma triangle is going around in circles, with other ghouls speculating about what’s going on.

The challenge for this week is to create a Science-Fiction (Horror) Double Feature runway inspired by science-fiction horror characters. Of course, before they’re allowed to go back to the boudoir, this is Dragula and we need something to shake the cast up even more. Welcome to the fright feat and the Gravitron Vomitorium. The ghouls are popped in space capsules (lockers) in which they are to be spun upside down for three minutes. The sounds that follow are disgusting, Kendra Onixxx and Melissa Befierce are close to vomiting. Never a dull day for the Dragula ghouls!

Returning to earth and once again back to love dilemmas and dating conundrums. With background drama taking place, Melissa Befierce and Kendra Onixx gather in the cauldron to talk more about the triangle and how it affects the others. Discussing their own headspace and with the addition of Koco Caine, Melissa talks about her own relationship struggles. It’s an emotional chat and is nice to see her vulnerable side. As stated by Koko let’s get to work on the challenges at hand.

Preparation begins for their costuming and I’m most excited to see what Victoria Black brings, as usual, her sketches and handmade special effects are incredible. Erika Klash shows us a different side to her aesthetic by using Ghidorah a three-headed space Hydra. Hand painting her headpiece in incredibly bright colors. With Koco crating a silver tinfoil creation, it somehow spurs the others into competing in a mini tin foil competition. This brief moment is full of happiness and fun, it makes a change from the whirlwind of chaos.

This week we get two very special guests who I love from The Dark Knight it’s horror actor David Dastmalchia. Joining David is a familiar face, the space alien herself Miss Alaska Thunderuck. Out first to flaunt their sci-fi creation is Astrud and their deep space alien creation.

Sci-fi has brought out the best in all these ghouls, this floor show lived up to the name of a feature show. These ghouls can take a concept and come up with some crazy creative outfits. For me Victoria Black, Hoso, and Koco each nailed the concept, they all delivered in different ways yet still hit the brief. The variety in the three went from creepy and creative to sexy space slut. An honorable mention goes to Erika and that incredible dragon garment made from a wall mount it was eye-catching from the minute she walked out.

Evah Destruction and Erika find themselves safe for this week, although Kendra and Abhora are looking at the trap to hell. The winner for this week and rightfully so is Hoso and as it’s a double feature Victoria joins Hoso in a double win.

The Boulets send everyone on their way to the cauldron to argue it out. Back in the cauldron and we see an excellent piece of editing, Astrud descends on a speech about being safe. Fade-outs of the ghoul’s reaction and faces add to the hysteria and oscar worthy speech. Poor Astrud, they’re trying to be encouraging and uplighting but the editors took this in another direction. Hoso decides to fight Abhoras corner again regarding the elimination. Declaring them as their favorite artists ever, and wanting them to stay over everyone. Of course, the others eye roll and proceed to say they want Abhora to leave for the peace of the group. This bodes well and Abhora chooses a lovely bunch of explicit to them as she stomps away. Another day another drama in the cauldron.

Abhora and Kendra begin their walk to the staircase of souls to see who plummets their fate. The door opens and we say goodbye to Kendra, hopefully, this gives Abhora the kick up the bum needed to get out of their head. So there we go another episode down, did the right ghoul go? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
