Maebe A. Girl runs for Congress
The midterm elections featured a drag queen on the ballot for citizens of Los Angeles! Maebe A. Girl made history by winning a crowded primary, and becoming the first trans/non-binary person to land on the ballot for Congress! While the votes are still coming in, Maebe is a trailblazer who has broken barriers for drag queens and non-binary people in politics regardless of the outcome.
There’s a new Miss Big Adam’s Apple in town!
Congrats are in order for Juicy Liu, who won the title of Miss Big Adam’s Apple over the weekend. She had us all laughing with her incredible performance as the infamous Nicole Kidman AMC commercial. You know the one. Watch the video above if you missed it.
Dusty Ray Bottoms is part of a very important documentary
Conversion therapy is still an issue in the United States and Dusty Ray Bottoms is sharing her story in the groundbreaking documentary called Conversion. The film tells survivors’ stories and while it may be difficult to watch, it is important. The documentary has a special East Coast premiere on Thursday, November 17th.
