The Teletubbies are coming to DragCon UK!
Yes, you read that right. Queer icon Tinkie Winkie, his red purse, and his friends Lala, Poe, and Dipsy, will be attending DragCon UK. We are officially jealous of everyone in the UK who gets to attend!
This Saturday, be sure to check out the second annual Queer Art Festival at 3 Dollar Bill in Brooklyn. There will be queer vendors, giveaways, raffles, and live performances from drag queens. Hosted by VINNY and Vicky DeVille, stop by from 2-10 PM for a good time. You can buy tickets here.
One final word before we wrap up. The violent and homophobic rhetoric against the drag community from both the Republican party and their bigoted hoard of followers has made life much more dangerous for our community than it has been in a long time. Please be safe and alert at all times and look out for your LGBTQ+ friends and family. Any groups that are actively opposing these vile forces, please know that WERRRK.com stands with you and offers our site’s resources to amplify your message in any way we can. Stay strong everyone and continue to live bravely and authentically.
