The queens returned to the workroom following the elimination of Sugar. Of course, Spice was struggling. Meanwhile, Mistress Isabelle Brooks came for Marcia Marcia Marcia’s Snatch Game performance. Mistress and Spice came together to talk about who should have gone home instead of Sugar, but RuPaul interrupted the conversation when the queens asked some more questions the next day.

Things get Spicy in the Werk Room following last week’s elimination… 👀🌶

Ru came with good news, it was time for the reading challenge. These queens did not hold back. They were all hilarious, but Loosey LaDuca was the clear star of the show. She was the winner! The queens were told they had to craft an outfit from the decor in rooms inspired by the judges while working together,

Haus of Carson Kressley, which was western themed, had Jax, Anetra, Salina EsTitties, Robin Fierce Haus of Ross Mathews was raided by Marcia, Loosey, Malaysia Babydoll Foxx, and Sasah Colby, and the Haus of Michelle Visage Amethyst, Luxx Noir London, Aura Mayari,  Mistress, and Spice.

While the queens were constructing their outfits, Jax asked Spice again who she thought should have been in the bottom instead of Sugar. She didn’t answer out loud, but in her confessional, she said it was Aura. Meanwhile, Jax opened up about her struggle with race in her hometown. Having been adopted by white parents in a white neighborhood, she struggled. However, after moving to New York, she found comfort in her own skin and thrived.

It was time for the queens to hit the main stage in front of Ru, Michelle, Ross, and Janelle Monáe. I have to say, all of the teams looked good. Of course, there were some who didn’t succeed as much as others, but I was impressed by their ability to build a cohesive runway.

Anetra, Marcia, Loosey, Mistress, Spice, and Aura were safe, while Amethyst, Jax, and Salina fell in the bottom. Meanwhile,  Luxx, Robin, Malaysia, and Sasha were given high marks by the judges. In the end, Luxx won the challenge while Amethyst and Salina fell into the bottom two.

The pair faced off to Q.U.E.E.N. by Janelle herself. Salina absolutely killed it and deserved to stay. After three times in the bottom, it was time for Amethyst to sashay away.
Next week, the queens will participate in a girl group challenge, but with a twist. It would be Golden Girls inspired. I can’t wait to see how this turns out.
