The queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race were back and opened with a controversy taking over Twitter. Loosey LaDuca said she won three challenges, counting two minis in there. Do mini-challenges count? Many former contestants gave their opinions, and we would love to hear yours. Sound off below.
Anyway, back to the episode. The queens would have to interview celebrities for the main challenge. Marcia Marcia Marcia and Sasha Colby would be interviewing Charo. Anetra Malaysia Babydoll Foxx and Loosey would be talking with Frankie Grande. Salina EsTittes, Luxx Noir London, and Mistress Isabelle Brooks were assigned our friend, LoveConnie! You can check out our interview with her here. If RuPaul can shamelessly plug, so can we.
The teams would conduct the interviews in various segments. However, the best part was watching Sasha and Marcia gossip about the rest of the cast. Give those two their own show, World of Wonder!
It was time for the queens to conduct their interviews. Connie was a wild card and so much fun, but her interviewers struggled to read her. Mistress seemed to struggle the most. Speaking of wild personalities, Charo was incredible, as always. Could Sasha and Marcia understand her? No way. But that’s what made it so fun. Loosey’s chat with Frankie was great, while Malaysia struggled with the kitchen segment.
As the queens got into their Beyoncé drag, Sasha talked about how her name was Sasha before Sasha Fierce, and that her friends were her dancers at one point. Could she have taken inspiration from the queen herself? Salina and I believe it.
On the main stage, the queens wore their best Beyoncé looks for RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and TS Madison. The looks this week weren’t as strong as in previous weeks, at least in my opinion. I thought Marcia and Luxx looked great, and of course, Sasha does no wrong.
In the end, Marcia and Anetra were safe, while Sasha won the challenge! Loosey, Luxx, and Mistress were safe, while Malaysia and Salina fell in the bottom two. The pair faced off to Single Ladies Ladies by Beyoncé. They were both doing the choreo, which was cute. I love both of these queens after getting to know them this season, so I was rooting for them both to do well to be honest! Sad to see Malaysia go, but happy to see Salina fight another day.
