Drag queens take to the streets to protest Florida’s legislation
This week, over a hundred protestors, including some of your favorite queens like Detox, took to the Florida State Capitol to fight back against Ron DeSantis’ pride bans and other imposed anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Season 8 comes with a twist
RuPaul and the team at World of Wonder are not holding back when it comes to twists this season. RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars will feature two ways to win this season, and the fans will be able to play a hand in how it all unfolds. There will be a new crown to win, called the “Queen of the Fame Games,” which will be awarded through a fan vote. Only contestants who did not make it to the finale can win the title and the $50,000 cash prize that comes along with it. I can’t wait to see how this turns out!
All-Stars is also bringing some amazing guest judges!
We can’t get enough of all this hype around the upcoming All-Stars season, including who is set to appear as guest judges this season. Maude Apatow, Brandon Boyd, Zooey Deschanel, Idina Menzel, Ego Nwodim, JoJo Siwa, and Bowen Yang are set to join Ru, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and TS Madison. This season will be so much fun!
Olivia Lux is hitting the stage!
Drag Race contestant Olivia Lux has landed a role in the Paper Mill Playhouse’s production of Rent. She will be playing the role of Angel Schunard. Opening night is June 11th and the show is set to run until July 2nd. Break a leg, Olivia!
Peppermint has a comedy special out!
Peppermint is hilarious, we all know this. Now, we can watch her do stand-up in her new special, So-SIGH-ETY Effects, which can be found on Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, and YouTube. If you want even more of Peppermint, we don’t blame you. You can catch her on the stage in Los Angeles at the Mark Taper Forum where she is starring in A Transparent Musical.
