Drag will remain legal in Tennessee!
You read that right. A judge in Tennessee has ruled that the attempt to ban drag shows is unconstitutional. This is a huge win for the queens and allies in the South who are fighting tooth and nail to keep their art legal. The goal of the legislation was to prevent children from seeing drag, but the whole thing has been put to a stop. If you are in TN, continue to support your local drag performers!
Two seasons of Canada’s Drag Race are slated to air
Have you missed Canada’s Drag Race and Canada’s Drag Race vs The World? We have to. Good news, though. Both shows will be airing new seasons soon. Season 4 of Canada’s Drag Race and the second season of Canada’s Drag Race vs The World are coming, we just don’t have official premiere dates yet. Hang tight, we’ll keep you updated!
Sister Roma has been honored at the California Capitol
The California State Legislator honored Sister Roma as an official Pride Month Honoree on the floor of the Capitol. This acknowledgment came on the heels of the debacle between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Eventually, the team reinvited the group, but not without backlash. Props to the state of California for honoring the incredible Sister Roma and the work her group does.

Sasha Colby appears in an inspirational Hulu documentary
The current reigning queen of RuPaul’s Drag Race can be seen on Hulu in a trailblazing special that allows her to share her story alongside other trans figures in pop culture. The documentary is titled Freedom to Exist. Be sure to check it out!

Congratulations to the fabulous Junea Roberts on being crowned the new Miss Pacific Continental this past weekend! Best of luck to Junea at nationals later this summer!
