The word is official-RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is returning to WOW Presents Plus this fall! With a brand new set of queens being announced very soon, the series returns this fall on WOW Presents Plus in the US and select territories worldwide, day-and-date with its local airing on BBC3 in the UK. RuPaul’s Drag Race is known to showcase stunning guest judges, and this season is no exception. This year’s all star group of guest judges include the legendary singer/songwriter and all around pop icon Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Heartstopper fan favorite Yasmin Finney, and London fashion dynamo and famed supermodel Kristen McMenamy.
Additional guest judges we will see at the judges table with the esteemed judges panel of RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton & Alan Carr are multi-talented performer Aisling Bea, Good Wife actor (& OBE) Cush Jumbo, actor and comedian Joel Dommett, BAFTA Award winning actor Suranne Jones, and designer, actor, producer and musician Daphne Guinness. For her part, the ethereal Guinness is beyond excited to be part of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK this season saying “I’m honored to be on the Judges’ panel with my dear friend Ru. Drag, sequins and humour. What more could one want”?
Drag Race UK is also known for its plethora of celebrity cameos, and they are in no short order on the latest season. Carol Vorderman, Karen Hauer, Edward Enninful OBE & Claudimar Neto are all stopping in this season to offer assistance to the queen during their challenges this season. Vorderman & Burke will be the celebrity players on the iconic Snatch Game challenge, Hauer (of Strictly Come Dancing fame) offers a hand on the now fan-favorite Rusical challenge & Claudimar Neto offers assistance through the all dancing & singing Finale Eleganza Extravaganza number!
Vogue royalty Edward Enniful OBE is going to be doing a Werk Room walkthrough with Ru to offer the queens some invaluable fashion advice & is thrilled to be part of this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK saying “I’ve been an avid fan of Drag Race for many years, so much so that even my beloved Boston Terrier Ru, is named after the legend that is RuPaul. I am honoured to join as a guest on this year’s show and look forward to seeing what incredible visions the queens have in store for us all.”
