As one of the most prominent vocalists to emerge from New Jersey in recent memory, Jared Milian’s musical releases have showcased his ability to straddle musical genres while delivering the powerful vocals that we have come to expect. His latest single “NSA” showcases that very musical prowess and brings along the talents of Garden State favorite Blaise and drag superstar Jolina Jasmine for an all-out superstar collaboration!
Under the production prowess of Doug Gallo, Milian is perfectly perched in the VIP area of Paradise in Asbury Park NJ, belting out a dance anthem of yearning. Both Blaise and Jolina Jasmine check in with powerful verses of their own, serving as perfect accompaniment to Milian. The video concludes with a summer cocktail party on the Paradise pool deck (under the glistening Empress Hotel sign).
When asked about the track itself, Jared Milian told us exclusively “We wrote NSA to celebrate LGBTQIA liberation and experience. We want to celebrate the queer community and our freedom to express ourselves however we see fit. There are hundreds of songs by heterosexual people sexualizing themselves and I think Queer people deserve the same”
As for her own participation in the track Jolina Jasmine saw it as a natural fit. Jolina said exclusively “Working with two amazingly talented artist such as Jared and Blaise on this project has been the highlight of my year, and being asked to be featured on “NSA” was an immense compliment. I am so proud of the work we did and I hope everyone enjoys the video and song! Special thank you to Paradise for being so accommodating and letting us bring our vision to life.”
