When it debuted in January of 2022, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus The World became an instant sensation, showcasing queens like Jujubee, Baga Chipz, Pangina Heals and Jimbo battling it out for the crown and title of Queen of the Mothertucking World (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1’s Blu Hydrangea eventually took the title for the inaugural season). This weekend, DragCon UK gagged us all when at the conclusion of the Live from the Pink Carpet live-stream (hosted by Michelle Visage), the brand new cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus The World Season 2 was announced. This cast of Global Glamazons features eleven queens from franchises throughout the globe, this time competing not just for the crown, but for the first-ever cash prize since the UK franchise launched. in late 2019!
The cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus the World Season 2 are: Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha (Drag Race España Season 1), Choriza May (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 3), Scarlet Envy (Season 11, All Stars 6), Gothy Kendoll (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1), Hannah Conda (RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 2), Jonbers Blonde (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 4), Mayhem Miller (Season 10, All Stars 5), (Keta Minaj (Drag Race Holland, Season 2), La Grande Dame (Drag Race France Season 1), Marina Summers (Drag Race Philippines Season 1), and Tia Kofi (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2).
Heading up the judges panel for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus The World Season 2 will of course be RuPaul, alongside Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and Alan Carr. Expect a star-studded roster of guest judges along with some surprise celebrity cameos as this stunning group of all star queens battle it out to see who will be crowned Queen of the Mothertucking World!
Season two of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus The World’ will premiere Friday, February 9th on WOW Presents Plus in the US and select territories worldwide, day and date with its local airing in the UK.
