Planet Pride has announced that television personality and cultural icon, Tiffany Pollard, will be making her DJ debut at the Brooklyn Mirage on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Known for her vibrant personality and significant impact on reality television, Pollard is set to bring her dynamic energy to one of the most anticipated events of NYC Pride.

Planet Pride 2024, the largest pride event in New York City, produced by Jake Resnicow and Ty Sunderland, offers a full takeover of the renowned Avant Gardner and Brooklyn Mirage venues. This year’s event promises a 12-hour, non-stop celebration with multiple stages featuring over 20 international DJs and performers, ensuring an unforgettable experience of music, art, and community spirit.
The Brooklyn Mirage, a key venue for Planet Pride, provides an immersive outdoor atmosphere with state-of-the-art sound and spectacular views of the city. Pollard’s performance is expected to be a highlight, showcasing her unique flair and connecting with the audience in a new, exciting way.
Tiffany Pollard rose to public prominence for her participation on the first two seasons of VH1’s Flavor of Love (2006–2007). Pollard was given the nickname “New York” by rapper Flavor Flav. She is also proclaimed herself “HBIC” – an acronym for “Head Bitch in Charge” – a nickname she use to taunt her competitors with during the Flavor of Love series. Her temperamental and outspoken nature often led to tension with the other women on the show but made her an instant fan favorite. After Flavor of Love, Pollard starred in the show’s spin-off I Love New York and later took part in 17th series of the British edition of Celebrity Big Brother. In 2022, Pollard began hosting Hot Haus, a queer sex reality competition from Daddy TV on the OutTV television and streaming services.
