Drag queens and celebrities paid their respects to The Vivienne
Various queens and celebrities came out for a beautiful memorial service for drag legend The Vivienne. Baga Chipz, Danny Beard, Cheryl, Tia Coffee and Veronica Green were among the queens there to celebrate her life. Her crown from her Drag Race UK victory was on display, and her parents gave a beautiful talk about how proud they were of her. It looked to be a beautiful day for a very special person.
Bob the Drag Queen is hosting the Queerties
It’s award season again, friends, and this year the Queerties are about to be a bunch of fun. Bob the Drag Queen will be the MC for the night of March 11, and the fun news? It’ll be streaming on WOW Presents Plus!
After Midnight held an all drag queen panel!
And they picked the perfect queens for the occasion! Peaches Christ, Jinkx Monsoon, and Ben DeLaCreme appeared together on the CBS late-late show, and of course it was hilarious and perfect! The show’s Instagram even dubbed it the greatest panel of all time!
The 26th Annual Glam Awards took place Monday night!
A sold out Sony Hall in New York City was the site of the 26th annual Glam Awards, celebrating New York City nightlife! The spectacular event, presented by Cherry Jubilee, was headlined by Kizha Carr being named Entertainer of the Year and the Murray Hill being given the Legend Award! Congratulations to all the winners and shout out to our WERRRK.com team of Chiffon Dior, Michael Cook and the Wigging Out Podcast for their nominations! Maybe next year team!
RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! in Las Vegas welcomes new queens
A group of new queens will be joining the cast of Vegas’ RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Kylie Sonique Love, Morphine Love Dion, Ginger Minj and Plane Jane will be added to the lineup featuring Jaida Essence Hall and Asia O’Hara on January 31st to celebrate the show’s fifth anniversary.
Miss Gay America and Miss Gay America Femme crowned in Little Rock!
