When a show like RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! is celebrating a monumental anniversary like one thousand shows, that requires an equally splashy celebration! On March 15th, the Sin City show (produced by both World of Wonder and Voss Events) will celebrate their 1000th show, which WOW Presents Plus will broadcast LIVE as a stand-alone special. Additionally, the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Untucked will premiere on April 4th with a brand new cast member-RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16 winner Nymphia Wind!
Premiering on the Las Vegas strip five years ago at The Flamingo, RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! has boasted a rotating cast of Drag Race global competitors. Over thirty queens from the Drag Race franchise have taken part in RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!, with everyone from Pangina Heals to Jasmine Kennedie to Latrice Royale hitting the Drag Race Live! stage. The 1000th show will include the residency’s current cast, Asia O’Hara, Ginger Minj, Jaida Essence Hall, Kylie Sonique Love, Morphine Love Dion, and Plane Jane, along with some truly surprise special guests. The WOW Presents Plus global broadcast of the show kicks off at 9:30pm PT on March 15, with the show then becoming part of the WOW Presents Plus programming catalog.
RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Untucked gives viewers a backstage pass with a cast of fan favorite Drag Race queens following them on and off-stage in Las Vegas. After the first season premiered in 2024 (becoming WOW Presents Plus’ highest rated original series since the platform’s launch in 2017), Season two will kick off with the same format. With Derrick Barry, Bosco, Lawrence Chaney, Kennedy Davenport and Latrice Royale all returning, they will be joined by a new cast member, RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16 winner Nymphia Wind!
