From the viral choreography of “Abracadabra” to the infectious bridge in “How Bad Do You Want Me” to the of love letter that is “Vanish Into You”, Lady Gaga’s seventh studio album Mayhem is in a word, a sensation. Predictably, the Little Monsters have taken the material from Mayhem & reimagined it in their own wonderful ways, with absolutely stunning results. Already one of the most popular drag queens in the Garden State, Tastie is also well known as a certified Little Monster, recreating some of Gaga’s best looks and performing Gaga anthems down to the smallest detail. Her talent has also gotten the attention of Mother Monster herself, with Lady Gaga reposting Tastie herself on social media!
Recently, Paradise in Asbury Park celebrated the release of Mayhem and Tastie was on hand to celebrate the Gaga’s latest album. Not only was there some amazing Mayhem-themed swag to give away to the fans, but Tastie took to the stage (and to the dance floor) herself to perform Mayhem anthems and captivated the absolutely packed nightclub with her razor sharp choreography. Tastie took to the stage solo initially, then welcomed some of Paradise’s most enthusiastic Little Monsters on stage for an electrifying performance of the Abcadarbra choreography!
Lady Gaga’s dedication to both her craft and her fans has clearly rubbed off on Tastie as well. The next day, when a fan complimented her performance at Paradise the evening before, Tastie’s response was simple-“I did it for Gaga & and the Monsters in the audience. The vibe in the room was INCREDIBLE”!
