Peaches Christ and company continue to fight for justice for Heklina
Growing up in the Bay Area, Heklina was my first exposure to drag, and she ultimately changed my life. Her tragic death shocked the community, but learning that the police feel foul play may have been involved but they never fully pursued it, makes it sting even more. On the anniversary of her death, Peaches Christ was joined by Cheddar Gorgeous, Crystal, and Ana Matronic of the Scissor Sisters to protest for justice. Watch the powerful video below and urge the UK police to bring Heklina justice.

TS Madison opened incredible space for formerly incarcerated Black trans women
It’s no secret that TS Madison is a fan-favorite and American treasure. That’s why it was no surprise when she gave back to her community. TS opened a starter home in Atlanta for formerly incarcerated trans women of color.
“I wanted to use this house as a conduit for girls to become great,” she said. “I was a girl that was disenfranchised and homeless and was in sex work, and so many great things have happened in this house… I want people to understand that it’s not where you start, it’s where you go.” What an amazing mission!
Liza Minnelli will be honored at the season 17 finale!
We might be waiting for the next winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race to be crowned, but the real queen of queens will be honored at the finale! RuPaul will be presenting a Giving Us Lifetime Achievement award to Liza Minnelli! I know what will be my favorite part of the finale!
