Another day, another slay. The queens of the orange bracket were back in the workroom for their last week leading up to the semi-finals. Bosco landed 3 points, bringing her to a total of 4, where she was tied with Irene The Alien as the top two.

When it came to giving points out this week, Aja gave hers to Olivia Lux, Phoenix gave hers to DeJa Skye. This is where it got crazy. Olivia gave her point to DeJa instead of Aja! DeJa was then put in a wild position. She did not give her point to Phoenix or Aja, and instead gave a second point to Olivia, leaving DeJa, Olivia, and Aja with 3 points, and Phoenix has 1 point. Of course, Aja was upset about Olivia not giving her the point. Drama!

Olivia and Aja ended up revealing their alliance in front of everyone, and Phoenix shared that she felt it was shady that she didn’t work with the other three, she had no chance of getting a point. Anyway, it was over when RuPaul appeared on the screen with his wig and mustache.

They all ended up on a basketball court, where Ru was having the time of his life. The queens then learned they would transform college basketball players into drag queens. How would the queens get paired? By whoever can make the most baskets in a minute. I couldn’t get enough of this. I love watching drag queens do sports.

With 8 baskets, Irene won! She was nice and chose to pair queens with basketball players she felt she could transform the best.

The queens and their basketball players hit the workroom to start their makeovers and plan their choreography and lyrics, because they also had to make a song. These poor basketball players had no idea what they were getting into. It was very fun to see the girls and their partners work together. The best part was when Bosco said RuPaul lyrics were from the bible and used it as inspiration for her partner.

I was so excited to see Phoenix was incorporating her entrance look from season 3 into this week’s challenge. Prison, honey! DeJa somehow got her partner to shave her eyebrows! These girls were committed! I also loved hearing the support for women’s sports as the players talked about stereotypes they face. WATCH WOMEN’S SPORTS, PEOPLE!!

It was time for everyone to hit the runway! Joining Ru was Michelle, TS Madison, and Kate Beckinsale. The category was drag family resemblance. Bosco’s look was perfect, I really enjoyed Olivia’s, and liked Irene’s look, too.

Then these poor women had to perform on stage to the Drag Race original song. They were really good sports (no pun intended). Aja got points from me by not only including Steph Curry in her lyrics but also my queen Ayesha, his wife.

It was time for the judges critiques. Deja, Aja and Phoenix got the lowest critiques, while Bosco, Olivia, and Irene received more praise. The top two for the week were Irene and Bosco.

They took the stage to Pocketbook by Jennifer Hudson. It was a fun performance, but Irene pulled off the win.

The queens would be awarding their MVQ points ON THE MAINSTAGE. That means they got to write it down, and vote more privately.

Aja gave her point to DeJa, DeJa gave hers to Olivia, Olivia gave hers to Aja, and Phoenix gave hers to Aja!

That means that Bosco, Irene, and Aja were advancing to the semi-finals! But wait, there’s more. DeJa, Olivia, and Phoenix have a chance to re-enter the competition in the wildcard round! This is so much fun, right?

Next week, we meet a whole new bracket. I can’t wait to see where this goes!
