Babes on Blades is a fantastic charity event that takes place in Halifax, NS, Canada every year. A group of Canadian drag queens and kings started the charity event to give back to the community, while also including 2SLGBTQ+ youth. Since most shows are nineteen and up, young people don’t have access to gigs. This event combines the incredible concept of drag queens on ice skates, a family friendly environment, and raising funds for an incredible cause.

Jacob said last year their goal was to raise $5,000 and ended up raising over $13,000. This year, they’ve set a goal of $10,000, so make sure you get out there and help them reach it!
Love a good ole’ drag competition? The queen/king who raises the most for Children’s Wish will be rewarded with prizes! Last year was a $500 gift card for first place, the second was a sickening prize pack from MAC Cosmetics. Of course, these queens want to do
