Haley Van Horn to Write Returning Featured Series, “The Week in Drag” for WERRRK.com
August 15th, 2022 (New York, NY) – WERRRK.com announced today the return of one of their most popular features from the early years of the site, The Week in Drag. The feature, which was originally written by UK Editor Emily Meow, covered the top stories of the week from the world of drag, including mainstream stories, pageantry results and television events. The returning feature will be written each week by Associate Editor Haley Van Horn who has been primarily covering drag television of late.
“We’re very excited to have Haley re-energizing this feature and we look forward to shining a spotlight on the biggest stories from the drag scene around the globe. We’re returning to our roots and Haley is such a gifted writer, it was clear that she was the perfect choice to spearhead this project.” said WERRRK.com founder Chiffon Dior. “I couldn’t be more excited to bring back The Week In Drag. Emily did such a great job with the column and I aim to bring as much passion to the piece that she did. I can’t thank Chiffon, our fearless leader, enough for always having faith in my abilities as a writer. Now, let’s talk about drag!” added Haley.
In addition, in order avoid confusion, WERRRK’s regular Instagram-themed feature, The Weekly Instadrag, will be rebranded as The WERRRK.com Limelight and continue to feature drag themed Instagram posts on a regular basis.
