The WERRRK.com 2018 (-ish) Drag Awards Nominees

Just when you think Awards Season is over, here come the WERRRK.com 2018 (-ish) Drag Awards, recognizing the best in drag, entertainment, fashion and LGBTQ achievement! We’re running a little late this year due to being super busy (See here and here!) but better late than never as the nominating stage is starting now, where your vote will help decide the winners!

You will be able to vote once every 24 hours in each category so don’t let your favorite queens, artists, songs, movies and moments go unrecognized. And this year, we have an easy domain to bring you back here to vote each day, www.WERRRKAwards.com!

As always, it is very hard to narrow these lists down to just a handful of nominees so we do our research, we talk to experts and we come up with our list of nominees for the year and do our absolute best not to slight people. No list of this kind is ever going to be perfect but there is no malice intended towards anyone left out! And now, that brief disclaimer aside, on with the nominations! (See the 2017 Drag Awards here!)

QUEEN OF LOS ANGELES:

(2017 Winner: Allusia, 2016 Winner: Diana Dzhaketov, 2015 Winner: Misty Violet, 2014 Winner: Melissa BeFierce)

As the two OG’s of our “Queen of” awards,  the QUEEN OF NEW YORK and the QUEEN OF LOS ANGELES are two of the hardest awards to nominate each year given the preponderance of talent on each coast. That being said, we’re going to see who will succeed Allusia as the 2018 QUEEN OF LOS ANGELES! Remember you can vote once every 24 hours for your favorite City of Angels queen for the next few weeks. Congratulations to all of our amazing nominees and good luck! (Editor’s Note: As always with the “Queen of” awards, queens who have been on RuPaul’s Drag Race or that we have on pretty good authority will be on the coming season of the show are not eligible.)
